This whole thing stinks. Of course, a lot of you don't care, because, y'know, Gallente = evil and all that moral absolutist jazz, but here's reasons this seems like there's more to it.
First off: c'mon, it's the Admiral. Last I checked, he was very much anti-war. So the last survivor of a Gallente-Caldari war attempts to restart it in the same way the last one ended - applying a capital ship to civilians with extreme force. Something I've learned in life is that irony usually doesn't happen on its own.
Now, even if we're going to be like those charming Amarr chaps who are screaming blue murder and ignore said irony: he does this at a genuine attempt from both sides to get past the ethnic warmongering of the last few weeks. He only does this after both delegations are on the station, despite him actually carrying one of them in his Nyx beforehand. I refuse to believe that this was an intentional act on the Admiral's part: perhaps once his clone kicks in we'll get a explanation. Either he lost control or someone took it from him.
Now add in the mysterious backers of Tibus Heth, a man who conveniently dislikes the Federation, despite talking like one of us, and has no problem with stirring up riots.
Are we going to use our heads or our guns today? Because it looks to me like someone's taking us for a ride, and I for one ain't gonna fall for it. -------

Originally by: Sylvain Lemieux The news that the attack was deliberate is disturbing and one wonders what the future holds.
If this is true (and I still want to think that that's not the Admiral, that someone else has spoken in his place), he's a lunatic. At this point what the Feds need to do is disavow his actions and offer to assist as best they can.
It's not our fault, but it's our responsibility to attempt to alleviate the error of permitting his actions. We still don't have any proof that this wasn't a lone wolf gone crazy, and to take that out on people with a similar nationality isn't going to bring the victims back. -------
